College Cooking

Lazy and Express Cooking for Students using Rice Cooker.

Ingredients: Penne/Macaroni, Salt, Black Pepper, Cooking Oil, Bolognaise sauce, Cabbage, Pasta herbs.

Instruction: Cook pasta in the rice cooker, drain the water. Wait until it slightly turn warm, set into a container/Tupperware and coat the pasta with a few drops of cooking oil.  Place the pasta in the refrigerator without sealing the container. After the pasta has cool down, stir the pasta making sure it doesn’t stick together and seal the container.(pasta can be store up to 2 days)

In the rice cooker, drop a couple spoon of oil, a pinch of salt and dash of black pepper and pasta herbs. Place thinly sliced cabbage and close the rice cooker with the lid and change it to “cook”. After 3 minutes and it sizzles in the rice cooker, stir the cabbage. Add spaghetti sauce according on how hungry you are.  Close the lid and change back to “cook”. Add the pasta after 2-4minutes in the rice cooker and stir gently until all pasta is coated with delicious sauce. Done!

(Eat with fork and spoon to look more elegant and classy. Sprinkle some parmesan cheese if you have some.)

p/s: if you doesn’t know how to estimate how much dried pasta to cook for single serving, just use all the dried pasta. But don’t forget to invite your friends to your exclusive Pasta Party!
